8 more test positive for COVID-19 at Billings care facility

BILLINGS — Eight more people at Canyon Creek Memory Care in Billings have tested positive for COVID-19 Wednesday afternoon, bringing the total to 64, according to RiverStone Health.
The new cases include six staff members ad two residents. They have not been reflected on the state’s COVID-19 tracking map.
A total of 21 employees and 45 residents have been infected, according to RiverStone.
RiverStone Health is continuing to assist Canyon Creek in managing the outbreak.
In response, Gov. Steve Bullock has ordered all assisted living and long-term care facilities to conduct regular surveillance testing of employees and residents to guard against outbreaks.
