Billings City studies problems with Elmo Drive’s traffic

Billings, Montana – The Billings Public Works Department started looking into traffic issues on Lake Elmo Drive early this summer after hearing from worried Heights residents.
The agency compiled a list of initiatives and suggestions to increase the safety of the road, outlining their strategy in a news release on October 20.
Megan Vaden, a mother from Billings, told the City Council last month how her kid was hit by a motorist on Lake Elmo who was traveling 35 mph. Her son also experienced other grave issues, including a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Although it is frequently utilized as the main street, Lake Elmo is not one in Vaden’s eyes, and she was bothered by the lack of traffic signals and the posted speed limit.
