Chick-fil-A coming to MSU in spring 2024

Bozeman, Montana – Officially opening on the Montana State University campus in Bozeman is Chick-fil-A.

As they are ready to launch the new franchise in the spring of 2024, work is now being done on the Union Market at the Strand Union Building. The MSU News Service Director, Michael Becker, stated that although a precise date has not yet been announced, it is expected to arrive in the spring.

According to him, a group of students approached the university a few years ago asking for more food franchises on campus. Among the franchises that answered to the university’s request for proposals were Firehouse Subs, which is also located in the SUB, and Chick-fil-A.

At 19th Avenue and I-90, Chick-fil-A is still looking to open a new, full store, according to the Culinary Services department.

Students at MSU are thrilled about the introduction of a new franchise in the SUB and everything that it will entail. Even though they anticipate large lineups, some people stated they will wait.

“I feel like they’ll be out the door like the SUB is going to be crazy. I think everyone has been dying for Chick-fil-A to be in Montana, or at least closer to Bozeman,” said junior Frances Zoloth.

“I am so excited. Like, this is, like, the most important day of my entire life… I’ll camp if I have to. Like the SUB can drag me out of here, if necessary, but I will be here until I get my Chick-fil-A,” said junior Issa Mullener.
