Due to suspicious activities close to Broadwater Elementary, parents are advised to exercise caution

Billings, Montana – In preparation for tomorrow’s first day of class, Broadwater Elementary parents and guardians are urged to exercise caution.
Superintendent Dr. Erwin Garcia writes on Facebook tonight at 8:30 p.m. that suspicious behavior was observed at Broadwater Elementary on the 17th and 18th of this month.
The event was reported to the local police, who are conducting an investigation, though he did not clarify what that action was in his post about it tonight.
Tonight, we contacted the superintendent, but we at NonStop Local received no new information.
Parents who are concerned have phoned us and told us what they “think” the post is related to.
We’ve just verified with Billings Police, and they say a man who lives close to the elementary school has been spotted brandishing a gun.
For several weeks, the police have received daily calls regarding this man from numerous people.
The Billings Police are currently looking into their legal options for handling this matter.
They are reportedly keeping watch over the residence and have repeatedly communicated with him.
