Human remains found near Seattle beach

Human remains were found in several bags along the beach in Seattle. Police responded to a call last week of a suspicious bag on a beach on the west side of Seattle. Another bag was still in the water, according to a statement from Seattle police.
The remains are with the King County Medical Examiner’s Office as they work to identify them and a possible cause of death.
A person who lives near the beach told a local station they were shocked by the terrible news, “but some of these things have happened before around here. There have been deaths down here a couple times.”
