Live fire training at the Billings Logan International Airport

Billings, Montana – Live fire training for workers of the Aviation and Transit Department and Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Division will be provided at the Billings Logan International Airport.
The training will take place on Thursday, May 27, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
According to Paul Totton, an Airport Operations Supervisor, small fire will be placed in order for the workers to gain experience.
The airport’s burn training facility is located on the airport’s property’s northwest corner. The facility has a non-combustible area with a diameter of over 1,000′ and over 7,000 gallons of firefighting water/agent on hand.
