Man died in t-bone collision on US 87 close to Roundup

Roundup, Montana – On Tuesday afternoon, a man lost his life in an accident on US 87 close to Roundup.
According to the fatal crash report from the Montana Highway Patrol, a 79-year-old man was attempting to cross the highway on Grazing District Road eastbound toward Highway 87.
The 79-year-old man could not see the other car approaching from the north at the same crossroads, which resulted in a t-bone collision, according to the MHP.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to the hospital for minor injuries before being released, and the 79-year-old man was declared dead at the scene.
Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
