Montana COVID-19 case numbers update – July 30

HELENA — Newly released state numbers show an additional 138 confirmed COVID-19 cases are being reported on Thursday morning in Montana.
An additional death was also being reported and following the morning update, Big Horn County announced a seventh COVID-19 related death.
The Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map shows the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Treasure State is now at 3,814.
Thursday’s data shows the total number of cases in the state now stands at 3,836.
The state tracking map is reporting 3,814 cases due in part to differences in reporting by county health departments which often receive information on confirmed COVID-19 cases before state officials.
An additional 10 confirmed COVID-19 cases are being reported in Missoula County and seven new cases are from Flathead County. Powell and Ravalli counties are each reporting one additional case.
