Yellowstone National Park visitors increased by 50% in September

Yellowstone, Montana – As fall approaches, Yellowstone National Park is a highly sought-after travel destination.
With 838,458 visits, September’s visitor statistics were about 50% more than those of the previous year.
When compared to September of 2018, when the COVID-19 shutdown and the previous year’s flooding occurred, September’s statistics are still up 21%.
About 4.161 million people have visited Yellowstone this year, which is 38% more than during the same time last year.
Comparing the figures from 2019 to this year, they are 9% higher.
With almost 4.47 million visitors from January through September 2021 was the only year with higher numbers—roughly 311,000 visits more than this year to yet.
