Ravalli County authorities investigating after possible remains of a human were discovered in the Bass Creek area

Hamilton, Montana – Officials from the Bitterroot National Forest have said that what appear to be human remains were discovered on Tuesday in the Bass Creek area.
A group from the United States Forest Service that was working on trails in the Bass Creek area of the Stevensville Ranger District on Tuesday about noon found what may be the remains of a human.
The Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation in the area.
