Shooting incident in Billings leaves one wounded

Billings, Montana – A shooting involving two adolescents occurred Tuesday evening at Lake Elmo State Park, according to Billings police.
Around 6:10 p.m., a 15-year-old was brought to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound, according to police. The victim’s gender was not disclosed by the police.
Police have taken into custody a 14-year-old boy.
Both of the teens engaged in the shooting were boys, according to a Billings police spokesperson, and the 14-year-old kid detained after the event has since been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
