The Big Sky International Balloon Rendezvous will take place in Billings this weekend

Billings, Montana –Big Sky International Balloon Rendezvous will be held in Billings this weekend. Last year’s event was canceled due to COVID.
Rise Above is the theme for this year’s event, with the intention that the community will come and look to the sky with optimism. The public is invited to attend throughout the weekend, according to the event organizers.
“People go all over the nation to try and see hot air balloons, so to have the only one in Montana right here in Billings is really special,” Triniti Chavez said, secretary of the board for Big Sky International Balloon Rendezvous.
The festival has been held in Montana for over 25 years and is the only one of its kind. It will take place in Amend Park and is open to the public.
There will be a balloon glow on Saturday night, filled with food trucks, live music, and a movie following.
“The food is on you, but everything else is on us,” Chavez said.
The free event will take place at Amend Park and is open to people of all ages.
