Bozeman Police are looking into a possible killing that happened close to East Story Street and Bozeman Avenue
Bozeman, Montana – According to the Bozeman Police Department, an attempted homicide that occurred on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in the southeast region of the city is still under investigation.
Bozeman Police Department posted on social media that authorities were called to the intersection of East Story Street and Bozeman Avenue on Wednesday morning. The “active portion of the critical incident has been resolved,” police said, adding that over 12 persons have been taken into custody.
Excessive caution led to the temporary shelter-in-place of Longfellow School. The school and pupils are not specifically in danger, and the shelter-in-place order has been rescinded.
The incident is being investigated by law authorities, according to the Bozeman Police Department. The public is asked to stay away from the area as Story Street is closed between Black and Bozeman avenues.
