Billings, Montana – Beginning this weekend, Billings Clinic will host public clinics for people of all ages to provide influenza shots.

This month, a number of flu clinics will be provided by Riverstone Health Clinic and the Montana VA Healthcare System.

From 9 a.m. to noon, all clinics will take place at the Billings Clinic Pediatrics Center, located at 2800 10th Ave. N. Clinics for flu shots will be offered on:

• Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023
• Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023
• Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023

For appointment setting, please give (406) 238-5800 a call.

Those getting their flu shots should park in the lot across the street, which is located on the north side of 10th Avenue North, and arrive ten minutes early.

Please use the Family Birth Center/Pediatrics entrance to access the facility.

It is advised by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that individuals six months of age and older get vaccinated against influenza each year.

The flu shots this year are quadrivalent, which means that they are made to guard against the four viruses that, according to studies, will be most prevalent throughout the approaching flu season.

As the season for respiratory illnesses approaches, it is still vital to stop the spread of any respiratory infections.

Annual vaccination against the flu lowers the risk of contracting the virus, which in turn lowers the chance of hospital stays, doctor visits, and even fatalities.

Insurance will be billed by Billings Clinic, and a lot of insurance policies cover the whole cost of the flu shot.

Please confirm coverage by first contacting your insurance provider.

The flu shots offered at Billings Clinic are devoid of preservatives.

There is no Flu Mist available.
