Close to Billings, a rollover crash leaves one dead and two injured

Billings, Montana – On Saturday afternoon, a rollover collision near Billings claimed the life of a Pryor lady.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, a Nissan Versa was traveling on US-87 when the driver is said to have fallen asleep, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and roll down an embankment.
One passenger, a 60-year-old Pryor woman who was not buckled up, was thrown from the vehicle. According to reports, the driver’s side of the car landed on top of her legs.
The woman was able to be freed from the car by a bystander, but when emergency personnel arrived, they found her dead.
A 2-year-old toddler and the driver, a 61-year-old Pryor man, both suffered minor wounds. At the time of the collision, both were restrained by seat belts.
