Gunfire early on Monday struck a house in Billings

Billings, Montana – Early on Monday, according to Billings police, shots were fired at a residence close to the city center.
A report of a shooting at a home in the 200 block of North 20th Street prompted police to send out a social media message, according to the police.
Officers found evidence of many gunshot wounds to the house. No injuries were reportedly sustained.
The incident was the third instance of gunfire hitting a home in Billings in as many days. Late on Friday, someone shot a gun into the back of a South Side house where an 11-year-old girl was sleeping, injuring her. After receiving care for a shoulder wound at a hospital in Billings, the girl was discharged.
The same residence saw further gunfire less than four hours later. In the second shooting, nobody was hurt.
