Billings, Montana – Hooligan’s Sports Bar is contributing 20% of its Monday sales to Warrior Wishes Montana in honor of Veteran’s Day, in an effort to support underprivileged military veterans.

Every month, the pub has hosted “Community Monday” for more than six years. They have chosen to support Warrior Wishes Montana in their endeavor to provide financial support to retired military people, in remembrance of the innumerable sacrifices made by Montana veterans, by making a donation this week.

Warrior Wishes Montana’s current president, Grey Rodriguez, expressed his excitement for his first community Monday and his gratitude to Hooligan’s for the chance.

“I feel like one day isn’t enough to celebrate our veterans and honor their sacrifices. So, when we reached out to hooligans to participate in Community Monday, I didn’t know about it much when I came to the organization but seems like it’s going to be a great event for us, and we’d be able to give back to our veterans even more,” explained Rodriguez.

Veteran’s Day has always held special meaning for Shania Stapp, the community manager at Hooligan’s, as her grandfather was a World War II soldier.

“Back then, my grandpa struggled. He committed suicide. They didn’t have those opportunities to get help or seek help or anything like that. So, it’s nice knowing that this is one of the main organizations in town that can reach out to veterans and help our community. We host community Monday, and we try to seek out people or organizations or families in need,” shared Stapp.

At Hooligan’s Sports Bar, the event will begin at 5:00 p.m.
