The 32nd Annual Strawberry Festival supports regional businesses in Billings

Billings, Montana – Hundreds of people gathered in the downtown area of Billings on Saturday for the 32nd Annual Strawberry Festival, which featured more than 100 merchants.
“We’re seeing the largest Strawberry Festival that has ever been, and on top of that, this is the largest street festival of Billings,” said Lindsay Richardson, the Events Coordinator for the Downtown Billings Alliance.
One festival vendor, Brockel’s Chocolates, is a candy shop that has been run by the Brockel family since 1978.
“We’ve been a part of every festival since the beginning,” said Jackie Brockel, the owner of Brockel’s Chocolates.
Since her parents, Gary and Patty Brockel opened the shop, Brockel said the festival helps draw customers to their establishment in the downtown area. She looks forward to the event every year.
“My dad passed away in 2022, but we’re still going strong,” said Brockel.
You may learn more about the store and the people that work there by visiting Brockel’s Chocolates.
