Two people sought for questioning in Big Sky stabbing

Bozeman, Montana – According to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, two suspects are wanted for questioning in relation to a stabbing that occurred in Big Sky on June 22, 2023, on a Thursday night.
In a press release, the sheriff’s office stated that Samantha Furgeson, 26, and Justin Ruff, 52, are missing and need the public’s assistance in finding them.
According to the press release, deputies responded to a report of an attack with a weapon on Thursday night around 9 p.m. in Big Sky Town Center.
A 33-year-old lady was initially sent to Big Sky Medical Center with an abdominal knife wound that wasn’t life-threatening.
Later, she was taken to the Bozeman Health Medical Center.
No information was immediately provided regarding the woman’s present status or any other information regarding the incident.
