Woman charged after driving through religious group
Billings, Montana – After driving at and into a religious gathering on Saturday afternoon, a lady has been charged with multiple counts of assault with a weapon, according to Billings Police.
Sgt. Ben Milam claims that Genevienne Rancuret, 55, drove by the group of people gathered on the sidewalk around 6th Avenue North and North 27th Street on multiple occasions.
Per Milam, one individual was struck and suffered a slight injury.
Later, someone located and arrested Rancuret.
She faces eight counts of felony criminal mischief, driving while intoxicated, and assault with a firearm.
