Woman dead after falling from Columbia Falls High School

Columbia Falls, Montana – Officers from the Columbia Falls Police Department were sent to the Columbia Falls High School on July 31, 2022, at about 02:25 hours, after receiving a call about a possible medical emergency there.
The officers found a female, age 20, who was in medical distress upon their arrival, and they rendered aid to her.
Unfortunately, all attempts to save the woman’s life were unsuccessful, and she passed away as a consequence of the injuries she sustained.
After the investigation was finished, it was revealed that the woman, along with two other individuals, somehow got access to the top of the high school gymnasium, and then fell through a skylight, landing on the floor of the gymnasium. The reasons preceding the incident are unclear.
Until her family members have been notified, the deceased woman’s name will not be released.
