Acton, Montana – In a semi-truck accident Wednesday evening near Acton, a Billings man perished.
A Toyota Corolla apparently drifted into oncoming traffic while traveling north on MT-3.
The Corolla then reportedly collided head-on and side-by-side with a Freightliner truck, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The Corolla’s driver, a 52-year-old Billings man, perished in the collision. If he was using a seat belt at the time of the collision is uncertain.
The 51-year-old Billings guy who was operating the Freightliner truck was unharmed. At the time of the collision, he was reportedly buckled up in his seatbelt.
The crash is thought to have been caused by speed.
