Billings shooting victim dies, police continue search for suspect

Billings police announced Thursday the victim of a South Side shooting early Sunday has died.
In a press release issued Thursday morning, Lt. Brandon Wooley said the 39-year-old man from Mississippi who was found at about 3 a.m. outside a home in the 2800 block of Third Avenue South has died and the crime is now being investigated as a homicide.
The victim’s name has not been released, and Wooley said no arrests have been made. He asked anyone with information about the shooting to call 657-8473.
