Hammond Valley Rd. near Forsyth seeing flooding from Big Porcupine Creek

Forsyth, Montana – Some regions of Rosebud County are experiencing floods due to the Big Porcupine Creek’s high water levels.
According to the Rosebud County Sheriff’s Office, roughly 2.5 miles down Hammond Valley Rd., water is covering the road.
As of Sunday morning, Highway 12 in Rosebud County is clear.
Roads that are covered in water should be approached with the utmost caution, people are being advised.
You are urged to notify dispatch with any information you may have if you reside in a flood-prone area or see potential flood zones.
