Investigation ongoing after signs of foul play determined in woman’s death

Billings, Montana – Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman at a house in Billings on Saturday evening.
Residents in the area say that deputies from the Sheriff’s Office stayed at a house at 3246 Stone Street late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
A woman’s body was discovered inside the house at around 9 p.m. on Saturday, according to a statement issued by the Sheriff, Mike Linder. According to the statement, there were signs of foul play, which prompted the Sheriff’s Office investigators to respond and examine the scene.
The victim was identified just as Gwen, and authorities said the last name will be withheld until the results of the autopsy come out.
Due to the fact that the location in question is officially outside of the city’s jurisdiction, the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office is in charge of the ongoing investigation.
