Jefferson County crash leaves 4 dead, 2 injured

Great Falls, Montana – Four people are dead and two are injured after two-vehicle accident in Jefferson County.
The accident happened on Saturday, July 31 at 5 a.m. between Butte and Whitehall near mile marker 241 of I-90.
A westbound 2021 Chevrolet Traverse was struck by a 2003 Chevy Suburban travelling eastbound, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
Drivers from both of the vehicles died at the scene along with two passengers of the Chevrolet Traverse. Two minors were taken to St. James hospital for treatment of injuries. Information about their condition has not been released at the moment, as well as the identities of the victims.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, possible drug use by one of the drivers is considered factor in the crash.
