Multiple agencies responded to the Harms Road Fire

Golden Valley County, Montana – Firefighters battled a fire that broke out in Golden Valley County.

The fire has been dubbed the Harms Road Fire.

Mark Olson, the undersheriff of Golden Valley, said that the fire is about 8 miles northeast of the Hop Creek Fire.

Fire crews estimated the fire had consumed around 300 acres.

Agricultural activity, namely combining, was found to be the cause of the fire, which started earlier in the day in the affected region.

According to Undersheriff Olson, crews from Wheatland County, Golden Valley County, and Musselshell County responded to the scene.
