Newspapers from Montana sold to a company in Minnesota

Billings, Montana – A Minnesota Corporation just acquired the 13 newspapers that make up the Montana newspaper organization.
The Miles City Star-founded Yellowstone Newspapers, which was acquired by the Coon Rapids, Minnesota-based Adams Publishing Group on Monday, will be purchased.
The deal also includes:
• The Laurel Outlook
• The Big Horn County News
• The Carbon County News
• The Livingston Enterprise
• The Glendive Ranger-Review
• The Lewistown News-Argus
• The Dillon Tribune
• The Big Timber Pioneer
• The Stillwater County News
• The Terry Tribune
• The (Forsyth) Independent Press
• The Judith Basin Press.
Adams already owns Belgrade and Bozeman newspapers.
The two firms agreed last Friday, and the sale is anticipated to be completed on November 1st, according to the Adams website.
