Pedestrian dies after being struck by two vehicles

Missoula, Montana – On Tuesday evening, a 60-year-old man died after being struck by two vehicles while crossing a busy Missoula Road.
The man was crossing Russell Street near the Wells Fargo Bank shortly before 6 p.m., according to Missoula Police Department spokesperson Lydia Arnold. According to Arnold, one vehicle swerved to avoid hitting the man. However, two other vehicles ended up hitting him.
On the scene, the man was pronounced dead.
The drivers of the cars involved, according to Arnold, are cooperating with the investigation. Neither alcohol nor drugs appear to have played a role in the drivers’ actions. At this time, no more information is available.
