Report of potential drowning person drew crews to Fairmont Hot Springs

Fairmont, Montana – Emergency crews were sent to Fairmont Hot Springs late Friday afternoon after receiving a report of a potential drowning.

Butte Emergency Dispatch Center got a report about a potential drowning at Fairmont Hot Springs at around 4:09 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a Butte-Silver Bow Law Enforcement media release. It was reported that CPR was being performed on the drowning person.

Butte Police Department, Butte Fire Rescue, and A-1 Ambulance were all sent to the incident. A 14-year-old boy was transferred to St. James Healthcare after the incident.

At this moment, there is no information on the victim’s condition.
