Shooting in Sanders County under investigation

Sanders County, Montana – Mineral County authorities are helping Sanders County sheriff in the investigation of a shooting incident that occurred on Friday morning.
Mineral County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a person suffering from gunshot wounds at St. Regis Travel Center. Upon arrival deputies found two people in a car at the scene, one of them with gunshot injuries.
The victim was transported to Missoula hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
There is an open investigation regarding this incident.
