Billings, Montana – The Magic City Blues Fest has been canceled for 2024, according to its organizers.

Pam Goodridge stated in a Facebook post that they have several reasons for not planning the festival this year, but the main one is that they don’t have a location.

Because her husband works at MetraPark, Goodridge said the Yellowstone County Commissioners expressed in writing their desire to avoid a conflict of interest by having the event held there. This is the case even though the Commissioners gave their approval for the festival to be held there in 2022 and 2023.

She announces the new festival their family is planning and remarks that they have loved hosting several events in Billings throughout the years: “YEE-HAW HEE-HAW Western Days.”

It is anticipated that more information will be released later.
