Top executive at St. Vincent resigns and takes new job
Montana – Jen Alderfer, president of the Montana and Wyoming market at St. Vincent’s Healthcare, has accepted a new role at LifePoint Health and will be resigning from her position as CEO.
Alderfer will leave St. Vincent’s on October 20, having taken her position in December of 2021.
With its headquarters located in Nashville, Tennessee, LifePoint Health specializes on offering healthcare services in developing areas as well as small towns and rural areas.
Alderfer’s interim replacement will be Bryan Johnson, president of Intermountain Health’s Western Colorado Market. He will continue to carry out his duties in Western Colorado until a permanent substitute is found.
Leaders of St. Vincent thanked Alderfer in the statement.
“Intermountain Health in Montana and Wyoming has made incredible progress in many areas under Jen’s leadership. Most notably, in EPIC Community Connect hosting for Cody Regional Health, launching a new ground ambulance program, and launching the design process for the new St. Vincent Hospital,” the hospital said in a statement.
The statement claims that Johnson will be spending a lot of time in Montana over the next few weeks to better understand the local way of life. Johnson was CEO of Intermountain Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah, and COO of St. Mary’s prior to taking up his current position.
In the upcoming months, St. Vincent’s promised to keep the community informed as they move swiftly and sensibly toward hiring a permanent replacement.
