Woman dead after car crash near Butte

Billings, Montana – A female person from Anaconda died after a rollover crash on the highway west of Butte on Thursday.
The 26-year old woman, who was travelling as a passenger in the car, was ejected when the car went off the road and rolled over in the median, according to the Montana Highway Patrol. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to St. James HealthCare to be treated for injuries.
Montana Highway Patrol stated that none of the persons included in the crash was wearing a seat belt.
No additional information was provided. The identities of the passenger and the driver remain unknown.
