A man took his life after escaping from police officers

Livingston, Montana – On Monday morning, a man took his life in Livingston after escaping from police officers while a search warrant was being served.
According to a press release from the Park County Sheriff’s Office, the Park County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri River Drug Task Force, and Livingston Police Department tried to serve a search warrant in the neighborhood of South M Street in Livingston on August 30, 2021, at around 7 a.m.
The suspect fled the residence when deputies introduced themselves and delivered the warrant. Officers chased the suspect on foot, but he took his own life before the officers could arrest him.
