After a terrible fire, the historic M&M bar in Butte will reopen this weekend

Butte, Montana – This weekend marks the reopening of the famous M&M bar and grill in Butte after it was completely devastated by fire almost two years ago.
The M&M’s owner confirmed to MTN News that the famous bar will reopen on Friday afternoon at its new site on North Main Street, directly next to the old one. It will also be open on Saturday and Sunday.
The former structure, which had spent 130 years at 9 N. Main St., was completely destroyed by fire on May 7, 2021.
On St. Patrick’s Day of last year, the new M&M temporarily debuted, but it has been closed since for remodeling. It will reopen on Friday at 4 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m.
