Aircraft accident in Flathead County claimed the lives of two people

Flathead County, Montana – An aircraft accident in Flathead County, Montana, on Saturday claimed the lives of two people.
When homeowners in the Church Drive and West Valley Drive neighborhoods reported a small aircraft crash at about 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene.
The sheriff of Flathead County, Brian Heino, said that the bodies of a man and a woman were discovered upon the arrival of the officers.
The Sheriff’s Office, West Valley Fire Department, and Glacier National Park International Airport Fire and Rescue were among the responding agencies on the scene.
Deputy Sheriff Heino said that the Sheriff’s Office was in charge of securing the area last night while the National Transportation Safety Board conducted an investigation. The National Transportation Safety Board will now be in charge of any further investigation.
