Billings store robbery suspect taken into custody

Billings, Montana – A man was taken into custody in Billings on Friday night after he reportedly stole from a Heights convenience store, threatened an employee, and then left the scene, according to police.
In a tweet, Officer Clyde Reid said that the suspect entered the Holiday Store at 1020 Main St. and then attempted to run over an employee in the parking lot.
According to Reid, he was chased by Billings police, the Montana Highway Patrol, and Yellowstone County deputies.
The state troopers used a spike strip to damage his tires, and he was arrested at the junction of 13th Street West and Grand Avenue.
