Body discovered in Blacktail Mountain burned camper

Kalispell, Montana – On Wednesday morning, a body was discovered in a burned camper on Blacktail Mountain in Flathead County.
Firefighters responded to a 911 report of a camper fire on Blacktail Road in the Lakeside area just after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino.
After putting out the fire, the firefighters discovered a body inside the trailer.
Sheriff Heino said the cause of the fire is being investigated.
The body was sent to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula to be identified and the cause of death determined.
