Laurel City Splash awarded T-Mobile Hometown Grant

Laurel, Montana – Laurel City Splash received a significant Hometown Grant from T-Mobile.
This money will be used to complete the construction of a splash park at the site of the former community pool in Laurel (698 First Avenue). About two years ago, the pool was closed.
The total cost for the splash park is roughly $298,000. Amy Mullaney, a member of the Laurel Splash Park Committee, told KULR8’s Melanie Willardson that by April 18, the community had already contributed $141,000.
The Laurel Montana Chamber of Commerce expressed gratitude on Facebook for T-Mobile’s support of both the local community and their Splash Park project.
They praised the neighborhood T-Mobile store for its encouragement and assistance during the application process.
