Laurel Middle School lockdown lifted

Laurel, Montana – Children’s parents and guardians received a message Tuesday afternoon that the Laurel Middle School is on “hard lockdown” due to potential threat that was sent to the Laurel School District.

The Laurel School District also provided information that all students are safe and there is no room for panic as the threat is being investigated by the Laurel Police Department.

According to the investigation report, Laurel Police Department said that the threat was not credible.

The lockdown was lifted around 2 p.m.
