Man found dead in Bozeman, investigation underway

Bozeman, Montana – A Bozeman man was found dead at his house on Sunday.
79-year-old Steven Jay Kilwein was discovered dead on the floor in 100 block of North 9th Street after the officers conducted a welfare check.
Officers initially suspected that a construction accident was the cause of the death, but an autopsy was performed on Tuesday and showed that Kilwein’s death was due to a criminal act.
According to the Bozeman Police Department statement, no arrests have been made at this time but detectives have developed a possible suspect.
