Montana sees record single-day jump in COVID-19 cases

HELENA — Montana state health officials reported 80 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, shattering the previous single-day record, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.
The Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map shows the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Treasure State is now at 1,327.
Tuesday’s data shows the total number of cases in the state now stands at 1,364.
The state tracking map is reporting 1,327 cases due in part to differences in reporting by county health departments which often receive information on confirmed COVID-19 cases before state officials.
There are 55 additional cases being reported in Yellowstone County. Lake and Ravalli counties are also seeing additional confirmed COVID-19 cases.
