MSU Billings announces hoops schedules; no fans
BILLINGS — Schedules for the Montana State University Billings men’s and women’s basketball teams have been unveiled for the 2020-21 season, the athletic department announced.
Per Great Northwest Athletic Conference mandate, no fans will be allowed at MSUB basketball games during the 2020-21 season. All MSUB home events will feature a live video stream with play-by-play commentary available on the MSUB Sports YouTube channel, and live statistics available through www.msubsports.com.
The Yellowjacket women’s basketball team begins its 10-game schedule next weekend, with home games against Lewis-Clark State College on back-to-back nights Jan. 29-30. The women’s schedule also features a pair of games against Rocky Mountain College, on Feb. 3 at the Fortin Center and on Feb. 17 at Alterowitz Gym. MSUB’s women will play a pair of road games at LC State on Feb. 12-13, and will close the schedule with four non-conference contests against Northwest Nazarene University from Feb. 26-March 6. As of Thursday, MSUB’s men’s basketball team has four contests scheduled with the possibility of adding more games along the way. The ‘Jackets will debut on Feb. 6 at home against Yellowstone Christian College, and will host YCC a second time on Feb. 27. MSUB will play at Rocky on Feb. 10 and will host the Battlin’ Bears on Feb. 17 in the late game of a doubleheader with the MSUB women. View the full men’s basketball schedule online here.
