Billings, Montana – The Billings Public Library is currently in the third phase of reopening plan as it lifts more Covid-19 restrictions.

Hannah Stewart-Freeman, the library’s assistant director, said Tuesday afternoon that visitors can now browse and use computers for two hours every visit. Some of the library’s furniture has been returned and the technology lab will reopen soon.

The café is now fully operational, new furniture has been installed and the return of the book bike is the biggest addition of phase three reopening, according to Freeman.

Stewart stated that the library’s next step would be phase four, when the operations will be practically back to normal for employees and visitors. This phase is scheduled to begin in the fall.
