This Saturday, Yellowstone Eye Care will have its annual “Focus on Kids Day”

Billings, Montana – Through its ‘Focus on Kids Day’ this Saturday, Yellowstone Eye Care will offer free eye tests and eyewear to children for the second consecutive year.
According to optometrist Joe Steiner, the event began last year to assist children in Yellowstone County in receiving the necessary optical treatment, despite financial obstacles.
Dr. Steiner continues, “It’s important to make sure kids can see in class, to learn better.” A routine test and glasses for a youngster can cost anywhere from $200 to $1,000.
“We felt like we could step in and help fill that need and that void, and last year was a fantastic day and this year it’s grown even more.” Said Dr. Steiner.
Although they are fully booked for “Focus on Kids Day,” Dr. Steiner says they still hope to continue offering the neighborhood accessible eye treatment.
