Helena, Montana – This week, the Montana Department of Administration will hold a career and resource fair to inform veterans and service members about resources and employment opportunities.

The Montana State Capitol or Zoom will host the career fair on Tuesday, November 7, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

According to a news release from the Office of the Governor, Governor Greg Gianforte declared on Sunday that he is cordially welcoming veterans and service members from all throughout the state to come and consider the job opportunities offered by the State of Montana.

“Veterans make some of the most valuable, sought-after employees in the workforce,” Gov. Gianforte said in his press release. “We want them to bring their talents to the State of Montana, and I proudly invite them to join us.”

From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, or via Zoom, veterans, service members, and spouses can attend the career and training seminars in room 317 of the Capitol building. Additionally, there will be workshops for enterprises, employers, and human resources that take place in room 102 or via Zoom.

On Monday, November 6, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, there will be a pre-session training in addition to the career fair. Maximizing the Potential and Productivity of Military-Connected Talent is the name of the event. The general well-being of students and how to perform well at work are its primary concerns.
