Woman dies following crash in Hill County
Great Falls, Montana – On Sunday, December 31, 2023, a collision in Hill County claimed the life of a 77-year-old woman.
It happened three miles west of Havre, at approximately nine in the morning, on US Highway 2 close to mile marker 379.
The woman had a “medical event” while driving a pickup truck east on US 2, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The car left the road and collided with private land.
After being brought to Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, the woman’s injuries ultimately claimed her life.
The MHP claims that the woman was not using a seatbelt and that drugs or alcohol had no role in the collision.
The woman was the only passenger in the car; her name has not yet been made public.
